Poster Planning and Drafts

These are Some drafts for our poster designed by the whole group - we all pitched different ideas and then tried to bring them together with one design.

This poster leads on the idea of the Quentin Tarantino's iconic car shot where the kills of the film or the victims would open the car boot to see the contents of it and in this case our poster could be following on from that and how the killer would be looking over his shoulder towards the camera and you would be able to see the body within the car struggling or tied up.

Even though you cant see the image very clearly it displays again the car boot opening up and seeing what we can assume is something like a police investigation where they have a selection of images placed around the car leading to a bigger image (e.g. the killing) and in this poster it would be on the inside of the boot so as the killer lifted it up you'd be able to see how he tracked the victim down.

This idea is where we'd have a hand close to the camera and in the distance (not that far) wed have the killer slowly walking and throwing cut police tape behind him (as if he's just done this crime and he's walking away from it and how it can also be seen that anyone can do it almost as well as he would be looking over his shoulder towards the camera. we would then have the forest type scenery for the background where he is walking off to potentially hide away

This poster idea, by Kian is rather simple yet it is pretty effective as it is just what we can assume a girl (dead or close to death) sitting slumped over in a grubby bathroom and then wed have a skull made out of blood brushes that we found on the internet and this would be the killers mark in a way, we all feel that this idea would very effective as a poster or could be used as a magazine.

This is another poster design which Jamie drew - the idea behind this is we have the victim in the boot with the murderer looking down on him and have the camera down in the boot looking up, this will show the killer in full view with potentially a creepy ominous background behind him

This idea is half a girls face and this half of the face will be filled with blood and have her with a shocked expression on her face, she'll be facing away towards the right of the camera to give some enigma and then the bottom half of the image will be black-end out and the main focus will be her face.
